36th annual awards celebration & Float Your Boat reception
The National Association of Black Suppliers Scholarship Fund would like to say thank you to everyone who came out on July 18, 2024, to celebrate our 36th Annual Awards Celebration.
This is one of our premier events. We came together to honor the 10 ambitious high school seniors listed below.
Our keynote speaker was Tanya Skilton, Executive Director Strategy Innovation and Customer Care, GPSC, General Motors. Her enlightening speech, filled with wisdom, deeply resonated with our Scholars. The insights that she shared, backed by her rich experience and vast knowledge, provided an entirely new perspective, which we are certain will be incredibly beneficial overall to our scholars and all in attendance.
Thank you again to all of our Sponsors for the 36th Annual Awards Celebration and Float Your Boat Reception: General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Detroit Chassis LLC, James Group International, JMA Global, LLC, DTE Foundation, Magna International, Flex-N-Gate, and many others.
The Scholarship Fund promotes educational opportunities for African American youth. We have provided over $2.3 million in scholarships to over 200 outstanding and deserving high school students since 2000 with a 95% graduation rate. 90% of NABSSF Scholars are from low to moderate family incomes from southeastern Michigan, surrounding areas and around the Country.
